Professor of Music Thomas Erdmann has announced the publishing of his seventh book, “How Saxophonists Understand Their Music.”

Coleman, associate professor of music production and recording arts, gave presentations on his music at the University of Utah and Brigham Young University this week focusing on his interdisciplinary artwork titled "Exquisite Corpse."

'Rites of Seasons,' the spring dance concert, will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday, March 5-7, and at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 8. Tickets are $15 or free with an Elon ID; call 336-278-5610 for more information.

The two-day conference hosted national music industry professionals and students from across North Carolina.

The second annual Leading Women in Audio Conference, celebrating the art of audio engineering and led by female music industry professionals, will be held Feb. 28-29.

The annual concert will feature Andy Page on guitar, Phillip Whack on saxophone and the Brubeck Brothers Quartet. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday in McCrary Theatre in the Center for the Arts.
