Professor Cynthia Fair of the Department of Public Health Studies is renowned for her research into the changes in the HIV/AIDS epidemic. 

Sarah Alger ’17 and Samantha Perry’18 joined Professor Cynthia Fair in the Department of Public Health Studies at the 22nd International AIDS Conference in Amsterdam where the group presented research. 

More than 50 Elon undergraduates were joined by several from other colleges and universities participated this summer in SURE, one of Elon's signature undergraduate research opportunities. 

Three members of Elon’s Class of 2018 and a recent alumna are among 10 Elon students selected for Fulbright awards this year — a record for the university. 

The university's top award comes with $20,000 to support and celebrate academic and creative achievements. 

An Elon senior, an alumnus and a current staff member have each been selected for the NSF's Graduate Research Fellowship program, which will support their work toward graduate degrees in STEM fields.

APOS is the only multidisciplinary organization in the United States dedicated to researching and treating the psychosocial aspects of cancer, and these students were among the few undergraduate researchers to present their work at this conference.
