Fifty-three percent of graduating seniors honored their alma mater by contributing to a class gift presented before Commencement on May 23, 2015, to Elon University President Leo M. Lambert.

Elon’s alumni donors will be specially recognized as part of the annual celebration that ushers in the winter season to campus.

Two dozen seniors are sharing with classmates how gifts to Elon University can help future students grow from the same experiences they have discovered through their studies.

Forty-three percent of Elon University students in the Class of 2014 - an all-time high participation rate for the Senior Class Giving Campaign - contributed more than $52,000 this year to support areas of campus close to their hearts.

The annual program raises awareness among students that donors help cover many expenses that come with studying at Elon University.

More than 400 members of the Class of 2012 made a gift to their alma mater this year, a number higher than any previous campaign on record.
