Members of the Class of 2015 at Elon Law welcomed family members and friends to the law school on May 22 to celebrate achievements of the class on the eve of commencement ceremonies.

Elon University School of Law is pleased to announce the inaugural issue of the Elon Business Law Journal. The new online journal will publish content about current and significant developments in business law.

Roy Cooper, the attorney general of North Carolina, will deliver Elon University School of Law’s Commencement address on May 23, 2015. 

On April 2, students of the Elon Law chapter of the National Lawyers Guild (NLG) and the Black Law Students Association (BLSA) provided commentary to raise awareness and advance discussion about racially motivated crimes and police brutality in the United States. Excerpts from their commentary follow. 

Six Elon Law students led an effort to raise funds for a local foundation that provides sports and fitness opportunities for children in the foster care system, children with disabilities and other youth.

Elon Law’s Moot Court Board is pleased to announce the 20 members of the class of 2016 who have been selected for membership on the Board.

Mackenzie Myers and Joshua Bonney won the final round of Elon Law’s Seventh Annual Intramural Moot Court Competition. Jaclyn Maffetore and Anne Evangelista were the first-runner up team. Evangelista was also named “Best Oralist from the Final Round.” Nickie Young was named “Best Oralist from the Preliminary Rounds.” The team of Megan Boorsma and Marissa Kuzbyt took “Best Brief” honors.
