Elon Law’s Innocence Project hosts ’90s themed fundraiser

On January 19, the Elon Law Innocence Project held an event in downtown Greensboro to raise awareness of wrongful convictions. The fundraiser was a '90s themed dance party that was attended by more than 90 Elon students and helped raise $270 for the Innocence Project. Second-year law students Brennan Aberle and Danielle Appelman organized the event.

2010 Intramural Moot Court champions announced

At the Third Annual Elon Law Intramural Moot Court Competition, held October 26 through November 1, 21 law students earned an invitation to join the law school's Moot Court Board. Scott Morgan and Melissa Westmoreland were the competition champions.

Student group hosts presentation on estate planning for LGBT community

On November 9, Lennie Gerber, a High Point, N.C. attorney specializing in estate planning for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) community, delivered a presentation at Elon Law through an event hosted by OutLaw, a student organization raising awareness about LGBT legal issues and fostering an accepting and supportive environment for the LGBT community at the law school and in the greater legal community.
