The Department of World Languages and Cultures would like to invite you to visit our Day of the Dead altar from Nov. 2nd-Nov. 5th in Carlton Commons found on the first floor of Carlton Building. 

Katharine Fredricksen '15 is spending the 2015-16 academic year teaching English in Austria on a program funded by the Austrian federal government. 

"The Peace Process in Colombia" Marcia Mejía Chirimia speaks about how communities and organizations are working for a better future on Tuesday, Oct. 4, from 4:15 to 5:30 p.m. in the McBride Gathering Space in the Numen Lumen Pavilion.

An Open Advising Session will be held by the World Languages and Cultures Department on October 28th for majors, minors, interdisciplinary minors and anyone interested in the study of world languages and cultures.

The language placement exam will be offered for new students only during specific dates and times.  Sign up at least 24 hours in advance.

Olivia Choplin, Meredith Allison and Jeff Clark were recognized during Planning Week 2015 for their accomplishments during the previous academic year.

Two Elon students recently earned high marks on the Prüfung Wirtschaftsdeutsch, an internationally-recognized Business German exam.

Elon staff and faculty were active contributors at this year's annual conference of NAFSA: Association of International Educators.
