The Fulbright U.S. Student Program offers research, study, and teaching opportunities to recent graduates in more than 140 countries, with approximately 2,200 grants awarded annually in all fields of study.

The ranking comes from Poets&Quants, a business education outlet that released its survey results on Jan. 22.

Lemack, who has served as an adjunct faculty member with the Elon in Los Angeles Study USA program since 2010, will begin in the new role on Jan. 22.

Räisänen, who will join the university on Aug. 1, will develop and implement university-wide well-being initiatives in alignment with the goals of Boldly Elon.

Elon University has released its President's List and Dean's List academic recognitions for the 2023 fall semester.

Two major dates for the fall 2024 semester have been confirmed. Elon Family Weekend will kick off on Friday, Sept. 27, with many campus activities planned throughout the weekend. Homecoming Reunion Weekend will take place Nov. 1-2.

Elon will play 12 games in the regular season for the first time since 2014 and six home games for the first time since 2016.

Among those visiting Elon this spring as part of the Elon University Speaker Series are the authors of "We are Charleston," Habitat for Humanity International CEO Jonathan Reckford and Legendary Hall of Fame baseball manager Tony La Russa.

Elon University will hold the first Women of Elon Weekend from March 14-15, 2024. The conference focuses on personal and professional development and will feature keynote speaker Jackie Joyner-Kersee, named the Greatest Female Athlete of the 20th Century by Sports Illustrated magazine.

Currently dean of the University of Wisconsin-Platteville's College of Liberal Arts & Education, Kelly will join Elon on June 1, 2024.
