Supreme Court continues to evolve, UVA professor says during O’Connor Lecture

After retired U.S. Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor spoke at the dedication of Elon University’s new School of Law in 2006, a lecture in her name was instituted at Elon in 2007. Professor A.E. Dick Howard of the University of Virginia delivered the inaugural Sandra Day O’Connor Lecture on Thursday, October 18, 2007, in Whitley Auditorium on Elon’s main campus.
New program helps Elon track records in digital format

Elon employees copy thousands of documents each year, from student
applications to worker resumes to purchase receipts. All those photocopiers
may soon get a lighter workload. The university purchased a program
this month that allows millions of documents to be stored in electronic
format, a move to both help the environment and increase staff
efficiency.
