A grant from the Greensboro Virus Relief Fund is helping the law school’s Small Business & Entrepreneurship Clinic hire a practitioner-in-residence to coordinate its new COVID-19 Small Business Response Initiative.

Nine members of the Class of 2020 and one member of the Class of 2019 have been selected for the prestigious program that offers opportunities for recent graduates in more than 140 countries.

Cherrel Miller Dyce, associate professor of education and director of Intercultural Education, has been appointed to serve on the Governor’s taskforce to develop a representative and inclusive vision for education in North Carolina.

A national nonprofit organization that advocates for expanded access and affordability to law school has awarded Elon Law a grant to assist students facing emergency needs related to COVID-19.

The Martha and Spencer Love School of Business sales program is recognized by the Sales Education Foundation for preparing sales talent.

Elon undergraduates and faculty advisors will collaborate to edit and publish the Pi Sigma Alpha Undergraduate Journal of Politics beginning Fall 2020. Pi Sigma Alpha is the national political science honor society, comprised of more than 800 chapters at universities across America.

A 22-member group will create a comprehensive operational plan with the goal of resuming on-campus instruction and residence life.

The program for the April 17 dinner and ceremony, which was to include an address by Frederick Lawrence, secretary/CEO of The Phi Beta Kappa Society, was shifted to an online platform where students and families can access video remarks by President Book and Frederick Lawrence.

The university has been accepted to the 2020 Institute on Teaching and Learning for Campus-wide Interfaith Excellence in Washington, D.C.
