The African & African-American Author (or Speaker) of the Month series is a monthly lunch series held by the African & African American Studies at Elon (AAASE) for faculty and staff.  The Authors/Speakers are often scholars from Elon or other universities who focus on African, African Diaspora, and African American experiences or topics.  This opportunity to learn, discuss, and eat.

These Author of the Month Talks have limited space.  Buffie Longmore-Avital, the program coordinator for African & African American Studies will send out an email to faculty and staff with a registration link to sign up for the talks.

If there is interest, the talk is filmed and then it can be accessed on Elon’s Learning on Demand channel here. This is available to faculty, staff and students.
