Journalism, Business and Corporate Communications triple major Annette Randall's paper "An Analysis of Brand Loyalty in NASCAR" has been accepted for presentation at the Southern States Communication Association Undergraduate Honors Conference April 1-4 in Tampa.

Randall completed the paper as part of her Senior Seminar coursework, under the direction of Dr. Jessica Gisclair. It is based on a survey of the fans of NASCAR auto racing. Randall found that the longer a person has been a NASCAR fan, the higher the personŐs level of brand loyalty. Longtime fans are more likely to purchase products solely because they are affiliated with NASCAR, and they are more likely to buy a product that is NASCAR-affiliated than a product that is not.

Randall has worked as an intern and a freelance employee for Lowe's Motor Speedway and expects to pursue a career tied to NASCAR.
