‘From a Grove of Oaks’ book signing event - May 23

University Historian and Professor Emeritus of History George W. Troxler will be available to sign copies of his latest book, From a Grove of Oaks: The Story of Elon University, on Friday, May 23 from 2-5 p.m. at Barnes & Noble at Elon University, the campus bookstore on Williamson Avenue.

Published as part of Elon's 125th anniversary commemoration, From A Grove of Oaks is the first detailed study of Elon’s history in more than 30 years, documenting the institution’s origins and development through the first half of the 20th century. The richly illustrated book also provides a thorough record of the dramatic growth during the administrations of presidents J. Earl Danieley, J. Fred Young and Leo M. Lambert.

Copies of the book will be available for purchase for $39.95 (plus taxes). For more information about the book signing, contact the bookstore at 336-278-5400.
