Student programming teams compete in regional ACM contest

Joel Hollingsworth prepared and coached two Elon teams and accompanied them to Duke University on November 12, 2005 as they participated in the ACM 2005 Mid-Atlantic Regional Programming Contest.

Team Elon Phoenix 2 finished 38 of 155 teams or in the top 25% percent. The team was made up of Chris Funkhouser, Nathan Shemonski and Dustin White.

Team Elon Phoenix 1 finished 54 of 155 teams or in the top 35% percent. The team was comprised of Matt Holt, Eric Hydrick and Warren Myers.
