Appeals Process

If you wish to appeal a parking fine, you must do so within seven days of the date of the ticket. APPEALS forms may be picked up in the traffic office and must be made in WRITING ONLY to the Traffic Coordinator, Campus Box 2010.

Tow-Away Zones

Any vehicles parked in a tow-away zone will be towed immediately! Tow-away zones include any traveled portion of a street and/or parking lot, fire lanes, handicap spaces, maintenance spaces, parked on the grass or sidewalk, tram path, visitor's lot, or vehicles left in Harper Center, Moseley Center or McMichael Center parking lots on Football Game-Days, and any other area that may be deemed a safety hazard.

Student cars will be towed from all faculty/staff parking areas Monday-Friday (year round) between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 6:00p.m.! If the tow truck has been dispatched, the owner is responsible for paying the fine and tow fee in the Traffic office, 216 N. Williamson Ave (Oaks Commons) prior to picking up the vehicle. All non-registered vehicles will be ticketed and/or towed. Vehicles that are towed receive a violation fine in the amount of $50.00 and a towing fine of $60.00 each, totaling $110.00. Football Game Day tows are fined for the "Tow Only", which is $60.00.
