Advanced Leadership

This series of programming is designed to ensure strong leadership for Elon’s future. Designed for supervisors and campus leaders, the emphasis of these programs is on addressing such issues as: self-awareness, conflict management, strategic planning, assessment, and facilitating change. Other aspects of advanced leadership programming will include the opportunity for off-campus development through mentoring and job-shadowing programs.

Programs:

Supervisor Series

Dr. Kate Panzer will facilitate a Lunch and Learn session on "Change Management" for new supervisors, as well as supervisors who are interested in refreshing their skills.  The Supervisor Series program also provides an opportunity to build relationships with peers across campus.  Dr. Panzer will assist supervisors with learning their preferred styles in approaching and dealing with change.  Supervisors will complete a brief on-line assessment prior to attending the session and they will receive their individual results during the session.  Attendance will be limited to the first twenty supervisors who register on the Office of Leadership & Professional Development website.  A buffet lunch will be provided.

Individual Development Faciliation

Our office is providing individual development facilitation sessions on a monthly basis. A knowledgeable, expert facilitator will be on campus one Friday afternoon every month to offer confidential individual sessions on professional and developmental goal planning. Once you register, you will receive two goal development guidebooks to assist you in preparing for your individual session. We are now scheduling for April. Please contact Ann Flaherty at x6123 (aflaherty2@elon.edu) for more information or to schedule a session.

Exciting Online Opportunity
