Don’t Forget the Help the Writing Center Can Give You

The Writing Center invites you to meet one-on-one with its thoroughly trained student consultants. You can bring in any kind of writing, at any stage of your writing process. Whether you are just starting a project and want to brainstorm ideas, or you have notes, a rough draft, or a nearly final draft, come on in. Session are up to 45 minutes long, an you are welcome to come back as often as you like! A consultant can help you with any of your writing questions, and you'll receive feedback and ideas from a real reader.

You can make an appointment online at www.elon.edu/cwe or walk in to our main location in Belk Library or our satellite locations in The Multicultural Center and The Koury Business Center. Our main location is open during these extensive hours:
M-Th 10am-10pm
Fri 10am-4pm
Sun 2pm-10pm

Planning for Department Retreats:

We look forward to partnering with you for your department retreats.  The first step to begin our partnership is for you to contact Ann Flaherty at the Office of Leadership & Professional Development (ext. 6123) to schedule a "Needs Assessment" meeting.  Please complete the planning form and bring it with you to the Needs Assessment meeting. 

As a reminder, if we have a minimum of  8 weeks for planning between the Needs Assessment meeting and the actual retreat date, our office may be able to assist you with some of the funding for your retreat.
