They manage the university's Life, Dependent Life and Long-Term Disability insurances. Currently the University provides full-time faculty and staff, at no expense to the employee, life insurance coverage up to three times the full-time employee's annual base salary.

The University also offers to full-time employees the ability to purchase Optional Life Insurance on themselves in increments of $10,000 up to $200,000. If this option is selected, employees can purchase a life insurance policy for their spouses/domestic partners in increments of $5,000 up to $50,000 and purchase a $10,000 policy for dependent children.
