Performance Management

Performance Management at Elon is supported through a dedicated platform that streamlines the review process, goal tracking, and development planning for staff members. Supervisors can use these tools to set clear expectations, monitor progress, and facilitate meaningful mid-year and annual reviews that align with university competencies.

Hiring Non-Employees

Non-employees include affiliates who work on campus or otherwise work with Elon students, faculty, and/or staff. Examples include independent contractors, faculty affiliates, and volunteers. Some non-employee affiliates are already covered by contracts with Purchasing (which require background checks performed by the company). All non-employees must undergo a background check before working on campus or with our community.
