first day of birth? |
A. |
Call the Office of Human Resources at ext.5560 as soon
as you find out that you are pregnant so that a benefits
session can be scheduled and all pregnancy benefits issues
may be discussed. At this session paperwork will be completed
and the procedure will be discussed to insure that your
newborn is covered upon his/her arrival. Remember that if
you are on individual medical coverage and you would like
to cover your newborn as of the day of his/her birth, Human
Resources needs this information at least two months prior
to the expected date of birth in order to accommodate the
administrative process. |
