English major Emily Cinquemani won a poetry contest sponsored by the University of Houston.
Elon University senior Emily Cinquemani won first prize in a poetry contest sponsored by GLASS MOUNTAIN, an undergraduate literary magazine out of the University of Houston.
Her poem “Arachne” will appear in the spring issue of the magazine. Cinquemani will also receive a cash prize and free registration at the upcoming Boldface Conference for Emerging Writers in Houston.
