Campus offices, dining halls and services often have alternate hours over the Summer. Find out what is open, and when.
Many students choose to stay near campus for jobs, internships, and research opportunities during the summer. Additionally, Elon offers two Summer Session programs. In order to meet the needs of these students, Elon has alternate Summer hours for campus offices, dining halls, services and more. Please note: Most facilities are closed for Memorial Day and Independence Day.
Moseley Center
Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Dining Halls
Acorn Coffee Shop: Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Belk Library
Open to students, faculty and staff
Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 11 p.m.
Campus Recreation
- Koury Center: Monday – Friday, 6:00 a.m. – 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.
- Beck Pool: Monday – Friday, noon – 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. – 6 p.m.
- Driving Range: Monday – Friday, noon – Sunset and Saturday – Sunday, 8 a.m. – Sunset
- PARC Fitness: Monday – Sunday, 6 a.m. – Midnight
Counseling Services
Please note that services are limited during the summer (June and July). There is no program assistant in the office during the summer, therefore, when calling the office please leave your name and contact information. The Director will check messages and is available by appointment only during summer months to provide consultation and referral services. (336) 278-7280
Health Services
Student Health Services does not operate clinical services during the summer. Students experiencing emergency medical situations should call 911. For non-emergency conditions, students should visit the Summer Information Page.

- The Oak House: Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. – noon (coffee) and 2:30 p.m. – 7 p.m. (bar); open late Thursday until 10:30 p.m.; open Saturday, 9 a.m. – noon (coffee)
- Pandora’s Pies: Sunday – Thursday, 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. and Friday – Saturday, 11 a.m. – 10 p.m.
- The Root: Monday, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. and Tuesday – Saturday, 11 a.m. – 9 p.m.
- Simply Oak Boutique: Tuesday – Friday, 11 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. and Saturday 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
- Tangent: Monday – Saturday, 11 a.m. – 9 p.m.
- The Maker Hub: Students can request access to the Maker Hub by emailing makers@elon.edu. In the email, please include the equipment you would like to use, your background using that equipment and a brief description of your project. If approved, you will be granted access to the Hub Monday – Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
