David Morrow II ’07 L’10 received the 2013 Junius W. Williams Young Lawyer of the Year Award and the 2013 President’s Award from the National Bar Association during its 88th Annual Convention in Miami, Fla.
The NBA is the nation’s largest and oldest organization of black lawyers and judges. This year, the association received more than 200 nominations across the country for the Junius W. Williams Young Lawyer of the Year Award, which is given annually to acknowledge the innumerable contributions young lawyers have made to our society and the National Bar Association in particular.
A regulatory attorney in the Washington, D.C. office of BuckleySandler LLP, Morrow assists clients in the financial services industry, primarily in litigation, regulatory and compliance matters.
Earlier this year, Morrow was named an American Bar Association Business Law Fellow. In that capacity, he serves on substantive and administrative committees for the Business Law Section. Additionally, the fellowship provides complete funding to attend six Business Law Section Meetings. Morrow was also named a 2013 “Top 10 Under 10” alumnus of Elon University in April, in recognition of his civic and professional leadership.
