- The Foundation Center is one of the best sources for information about private foundations. Check out their SearchZone.
- Federal government funding information: The Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance, now called Assistance Listings. Assistance listings are detailed public descriptions of federal programs that provide grants, loans, scholarships, insurance, and other types of assistance awards. You may browse assistance listings across all government agencies to learn about potential funding sources.
- National Fellowships for Graduate Study
Many resources on grants and proposal writing are available in Belk Library. You should look for such publications as The Foundation Directory, North Carolina Giving, Foundation Grants to Individuals, and other publications related to grants.
