If I can shed a little light on what has happened, maybe it will change something in the future.

Reverend Allison is a strong supporter of community activism. He is a Reverend at First Baptist Church on Apple Street and a leader in the Alamance County NAACP.

Born and raised in his grandparents’ Alamance County home, he shined bright as a young and talented trumpeter. He had to abandon this passion amidst the racial discrimination he faced when Western Alamance High School was first integrated.

After serving in the Navy during the Vietnam War, he returned to his hometown and served as a firefighter for 30 years. Allison has spent his life advocating for the causes he cares about, including promoting diversity, equity and inclusion in Alamance County.
