Iconic Learning

The impact of the Elon LEADS Campaign on our campus has been profound. Thanks to more than $86 million in gifts from hundreds of Elon families, eight new facilities were strategically added to the Elon landscape, widely recognized as one of the nation’s finest environments for learning.

Elon facilities do more than house classrooms and students. They are carefully designed to promote collaboration, spark bold ideas, and seamlessly blend academics and co-curricular experiences. Elon is grateful to all the donors who helped fund world-class facilities for a world-class community.

The following facilities were added to the campus in keeping with the university’s long-term plan for growth: Schar Center, LaRose Student Commons, Richard W. Sankey Hall, Koenigsberger Learning Center, The Inn at Elon, Founders Hall & Innovation Hall in the Innovation Quad, and the School of Communications expansion, including Dwight C. Schar Hall, Steers Pavilion, Citrone Plaza, Snow Family Grand Atrium, Turner Theater, and the Jane and Brian Williams Television Studio.

A Stay with Purpose

Bringing the Elon family together to create lasting memories. That’s what The Inn at Elon does. With 80 rooms, a ballroom, and The Mark restaurant, this boutique hotel welcomes alumni and parents back to campus, along with prospective students and their families experiencing Elon for the first time.

Located within walking distance to dozens of campus venues, The Inn is owned by Elon University and all income from the hotel goes directly to support need-based scholarships for students. This is why when you stay at The Inn, it is A Stay With Purpose.

Elon is grateful to Trustee Mark Mahaffey P’97 ’01 and wife Marianne P’97 ’01 whose generous gift inspired more than 50 families to make The Inn at Elon a reality.
