Canvas training opportunities are now available, with a variety of options designed to support you as you begin preparing for Fall 2026. If you’re looking for a simple place to start, we recommend registering for a session now, especially one that fits your schedule after the semester ends.

Start with a Drop-In Session

Drop-in sessions are available throughout April and May, both in person and virtually, as a simple, low-commitment way to begin moving your course content from Moodle into Canvas with support available as you work.

Guided Training Opportunities

If you’d like to spend more focused time in Canvas, these sessions offer guided, deeper, hands-on support:

  • April 16 (2:00 – 4:00 p.m.) – Canvas Fundamentals and Q&A (Virtual)
  • May 5 (12:00 – 1:00 p.m.) – Canvas Fundamentals Lunch & Learn (Belk Library)
  • May 12 (3:00 – 4:00 p.m.) – Canvas Fundamentals Workshop (Belk Library)
  • May 26 (9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.) – Canvas Day Workshops (LaRose)

Even if you’re not planning to attend right away, registering now helps you hold a spot that fits your schedule.
