Subject: Canvas Training: Options That Fit Your Schedule This Month
Good afternoon, Faculty and Teaching Employees,
As the semester wraps up, we know schedules vary and time is limited. We’re sharing a few upcoming Canvas training options so you can find something that works for you when the timing feels right to get started.
Start with a Drop-In Session (No Preparation Needed)
Drop-in sessions are the easiest way to begin moving your course into Canvas. Come when it works for you.
- May 12, 9-11 a.m. (Belk Library)
- May 18, 8:30-10 a.m. (Virtual)
- May 27, 10 a.m.-12 p.m. (Virtual)
Prefer a Guided Session?
If you’d like more structure, these sessions walk you through the basics:
- May 12 – Canvas Fundamentals Workshop, 3-4 p.m. (Belk Library)
- May 18 – Canvas Fundamentals Workshop, 10-11 a.m. (Virtual)
- May 26 – Canvas Day Workshops, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. (LaRose) (With Coffee/Tea and Lunch provided)
A quick note:
If you’re planning to attend a session, we encourage you to register so we can ensure we’re offering support at times that work best for you.
Many faculty are starting with drop-in sessions because they’re a simple way to make progress with help nearby. We know this is a busy time, and you can begin whenever it works for you, whether that’s now, after graduation, or later this summer.

We’re here to support you whenever you’re ready to begin.
