Are you a senior applying to attend graduate school next fall? If so, you may want to consider applying for the Jack Kent Cooke Graduate Scholarship. This generous award pays for tuition and expenses (up to $50,000) for up to six years of graduate study in various fields. The competition is stiff–the foundation awards approximately 30 scholarships and had approximately 1,000 applicants last year. Elon is permitted to nominate two students who can apply for this national competition. The selection criteria are as follows:
-3.5 GPA or better
-academic ability and achievement
-unmet financial need
-will to succeed
-leadership and public service
-critical-thinking ability
-appreciation for or participation in arts and humanities
