A new International Studies major regional concentration and minor on the Middle East will be offered starting this fall. The new curriculum was approved this spring after five years of development supported by a grant from the U.S. Department of Education’s Undergraduate International Studies and Foreign Language Program. The regional concentration and minor include new courses, enhanced foreign language offerings and new study abroad opportunities in the region. New Middle East studies listings appear in the fall 2011 schedule and the 2011-2012 catalog.
