On August 16, the Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning (CATL) and Teaching and Learning Technologies (TLT) will host the 9th annual Teaching and Learning Conference, drawing faculty and staff from regional colleges and universities and celebrating the beginning of a new academic year.
Dr. Ashley Finley, Senior Director of Assessment and Research at AAC&U, will kick off the conference with a plenary session titled How to Hit a Moving Target: Assessing Engaged Learning. The conference will include a dozen concurrent sessions that explore themes related to teaching, learning, and assessing in traditional and non-traditional settings. Presenters will include faculty from Davidson, Duke, NC A&T and Wake Forest, along with several of our Elon colleagues. Conference participants also will have the chance to learn about new technologies in support of teaching and learning throughout the day.
