English and professional writing and rhetoric alumna Rebecca Dotson '10 will give an alumni talk Thursday, Feb. 28 from 4:15-5:15 p.m. as part of the Professional Writing & Rhetoric Speaker Series.
Students from all majors are invited to hear her speak in Belk Library 102 about the marketing profession and the Elon experiences that helped her prepare for her career.
As a communications specialist with Kerr Health, Dotson utilizes her PWR background in daily work assignments, especially when establishing digital and print marketing campaigns targeting corporate and retail consumers. Having a passion for digital marketing, she also serves on Elon’s Triangle Alumni Board as their communications chair, managing their social media accounts.
She’s found that PWR greatly benefited her in the marketing field and set her apart from others pursuing similar goals.
