Excelsior Classical Academy, a Challenge Foundation Academy, is a public charter school that provides a broad knowledge base through the Core Knowledge Sequence, trains in critical thinking and expression, and promotes character traits such as civic responsibility. We are dedicated to educating students of all backgrounds and academic levels and believe that every student can succeed. Our target population is anyone in the Durham area who desires a rigorous, college preparatory education in a classical, liberal arts setting.
