Tibetan Buddhist monks construct a sand mandala for healing and peace during a period of three days. Viewers are encouraged to frequently stop by and see its progress. During a closing ceremony at 3 p.m. on Friday, September 18, the mandala will be deconstructed and the sand shared with the community and the earth.
