D.C. Public Schools Information Employer Session – March 15

Held in Mooney 206 at 5 p.m.

Interested in teaching in the D.C. Public Schools? If so, please attend this information session on Tuesday, March 15, from 5-6 p.m. in Mooney 206 to talk with representatives from the district for more information about opportunities with DCPS. (This event is open to both senior and junior teacher candidates.)

We’re looking for dynamic teachers who insist on excellence and are passionate about honing their craft. At DCPS, you’ll get the feedback you need to do your best work, colleagues who share your high standards, and opportunities to lead without leaving the classroom. WE PAY OUR TEACHERS LIKE PROFESSIONALS AND CELEBRATE THEM LIKE ROCKSTARS.

First year teachers at DCPS earn more than their peers in comparable urban districts. Teachers with a bachelor’s degree and no experience earn a starting salary of $51,539 and can win awards of up to $20,000 for classroom excellence. For more information see http://dcps.dc.gov/. This event counts for the group 3 for the C2C program. For more information visit EJN
