NAACP is working to get voters in Alamance County registered to vote and needs your help.
NAACP is working to “Get out the Vote” and register voters in Alamance County to vote in the upcoming primary election. The purpose of Voter Registration and Get Out the Vote is to ensure that all eligible individuals are registered to vote and do go to the polls to vote. Volunteers will be eduacatd on voter registration forms and how to recruit potential registrants to register. Student Volunteers will be paired with NAACP members for canvassing in identified locations which may be door to door, community centers, other places where groups may form. Interpersonal skills and a mode of transportation would be beneficial to volunteers.
