The university’s communications efforts in 2020 were recognized for excellence by the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education.
The offices of University Communications and University Advancement, in partnership with departments across the university, received several top honors in the annual communications competition sponsored by CASE District III, the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education. The awards recognize excellence in a wide range of categories by communications and advancement professionals at colleges and universities.
Elon received the CASE District III Gold Award in the Crisis Management category for the university’s Ready & Resilient campaign to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic. Ready & Resilient has been a campus-wide effort involving all Elon faculty and staff who worked together to mitigate the impact of the pandemic and safely return to in-person classes and operations in fall 2020. This award specifically recognizes the communications efforts of the University Communications staff, the Elon Ready & Resilient committee, Teaching & Learning Technologies staff, Parent Engagement staff, Print Services staff and Elon’s Senior Staff.
