New Feature Phoenix series highlights Elon student organizations and clubs

The video series offers a new way to learn about how Elon’s organizations and clubs reflect the university's approach to inclusive excellence.

The new Feature Phoenix series is offering an opportunity to learn about how student organizations and clubs are supporting inclusive excellence on campus.

The series made its premiere by introducing Britt Mobley ’24, who serves as president of Elon’s Student Government Association.

The Student Government Association seeks to enhance student life and ensure that the entire student body feels valued, heard and supported. Being a part of SGA provides students the opportunity to address concerns and promote positive change by work closely with university leaders, faculty and staff .

In the video, Mobley shares about the goals of SGA and how the organization works toward promoting inclusive excellence. SGA meets biweekly on Thursdays at 7:30 p.m. in Moseley 215, and all are welcome to attend the meetings. SGA’s offices are in Moseley 213.

“That part of well-being and belonging go hand and hand. If you’re able to belong, then you feel good about where you’re at. You feel good about the community you’re in,” Mobley said in the video.

Feature Phoenix is a great way to learn about the clubs and organizations that Elon has to offer and how inclusive excellence is engrained on the campus. The series will feature clubs and organizations of different sizes that bring together people around a range of topics.
