Elon Law Professor Faith Rivers James recently delivered the Real Property Case Law Update at the annual meeting of the Real Property Section of the North Carolina Bar Association.

The assistant professor of French presented research on short-term study abroad programs and intercultural competence at the annual convention in May. Her article, "Preparing Undergraduates for Research Projects in Faculty-led Short-term Study Abroad Courses," appears in the Winter 2014 issue of CUR Quarterly.

The assistant professor of physics presented "An optical biosensor for point-of-care medical diagnostics" at the 24th Anniversary World Congress on Biosensors held May 27-30, 2014, in Melbourne, Australia.
