The Universidad del Valle de Guatemala, a private, liberal arts university in Guatemala, invited Elon faculty Carmen Monico to join other internationally recognized faculty in supporting the development of a PhD program in applied psychology.
Jimmy Curiazza recognized for fundraising efforts to fight cancer

A staff member with the university's Physical Plant, Curiazza has collected donations for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in recent years by building a holiday light display at his home in Gibsonville, N.C.
