As chapter presidents transition from virtual programming to in-person events, Welcome to the City will be their first focus as alumni chapter volunteers lean into the year ahead.

The intent of the workplace HealthEYou Program for metabolic disease prevention is to promote healthy eating behaviors, physical activity, goal setting, accountability and overall well-being among Elon University staff and faculty through weekly engaging education sessions, individual check-ins and exercise in Fall of 2021.

Among those visiting Elon will be soccer star Carli Lloyd, actor BD Wong, astronaut and engineer Leland Melvin, and Elon President Emeritus Leo M. Lambert and Assistant Provost Peter Felten.

Members of the Class of 2020 are invited back to campus Sept. 3-5 for an array of events to celebrate their accomplishments. Registration closes Friday, July 30.

The tours for members of the Elon University community on Friday, June 18, were organized by Elon's Center for Race, Ethnicity and Diversity Education to recognize and celebrate the Juneteenth holiday this year.

The university is hosting two concerts this summer for the university community, with the John Brown Jazz Trio taking the stage at 3 p.m. on June 17 and The Castaways performing at 3 p.m. on July 22.

Elon students, faculty, staff and their families are invited to register for tours of the Burlington center on Friday, June 18, to view the "Juneteenth & Black Alamance" exhibition.

Elon will kick off the season on Sept. 4 at Wofford College.
