Christians at Elon University gathered in the Sacred Space inside the Truitt Center for Religious and Spiritual Life to commemorate the death of Jesus Christ with a noontime Catholic devotion. 

Easter is a Christian holiday celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ. All are invited to the Catholic Mass held in Alumni Gym.

Good Friday is a Christian holiday commemorating the passion, crucifixion, and death of Jesus Christ. All are invited to observe or participate in the Catholic Liturgy in Holt Chapel.

Holy Thursday begins the Christian three-day period of the Sacred Triduum leading up to Easter Sunday. All are invited to the Catholic Mass held at Holt Chapel.

Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the Christian season of Lent. All are invited to the Catholic Mass held at the Elon Community Church.

For students, faculty and staff unable to attend the 12:15 p.m. Ecumenical Service or the 9 p.m. Mass, a prayer service with ashes will be offered in the Numen Lumen Pavilion.

Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the Christian season of Lent. All are invited to the Ecumenical service on Feb. 26 at 12:15 p.m.

Join us in the McBride Gathering Space, Numen Lumen Pavilion, on March 5, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. for a pancake supper and discussion of Lenten practices in diverse Christian traditions. All are welcome!
