Hillel is your home away from home

Our warm and welcoming home away from home at the Sklut Hillel Center is a place where students gather for bagel brunches and Israeli cooking classes, for Shabbat dinners, Hanukkah parties and movie nights, to head out to play flag football or go on a nature hike.

All students know they can come by the house anytime – with their friends, Jewish and not – to write papers, prepare lunch from the full fridge, bake cookies, just unwind with friends, or chat with the Hillel staff, who are always available to our students.

The Sklut Hillel Center is a comfy home with a large kosher kitchen (read more about kashrut at Hillel), and a spacious backyard that borders the Elon communitiy garden and will soon be home to a multi-use pavilion.

When you walk through the door, more often than not, you will find students sitting in the comfy armchairs doing school work, chatting over a snack in the kitchen, or even doing laundry. Come find out how you can make Hillel your on-campus home.
