“Thank you for making the Seder feel like a little piece of home,” a student wrote us after our Passover Seder. For Elon’s Jewish students, Elon Hillel provides a welcoming home filled with Jewish friends and holiday traditions, both familiar and new.
This year, our annual communal Passover Seder has been adapted to creatively and safely engage students. Jewish Life will offer a fun shortened in-person Seder full of songs and meaning for small groups of students, as well as a variety of engaging and meaningful virtual and in-persib programs.
Kosher-style meals and plenty of matza will be available in dining halls, and strictly kosher grab-and-go meals will also be provided.

On Passover we ask, “why is this night different from all other nights?” This year, we ask why this entire Passover is different. Why? Because Elon Hillel has created an incredible, innovative, joyful, and safe Passover seder, which will take place on Saturday March 27. We invite you to join us (Click HERE to RSVP).
Meet us at Lindner Hall at 4:30 pm on 3/27 for an exciting Afikomen scavenger hunt, a fun, shortened in-person Seder full of songs and meaning (for small groups of students), and a delicious outdoor buffet-style dinner after the seder. There will be plenty of opportunities to share your family traditions and learn news ones, together.
*To participate in the Seder students must show proof of a current negative COVID test at registration, and be aware that masks will be required during our Passover activities.
