“Thank you for making the Seder feel like a little piece of home,” a student wrote us after our Passover seder. For Elon’s Jewish students, Elon Hillel provides a welcoming home filled with Jewish friends and holiday traditions, both familiar and new.

This year, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, our annual Passover Seder and in-person programs have been canceled, so Elon Hillel has created a variety of engaging and meaningful virtual programs for our students, wherever they are celebrating the Passover holiday.

Learning about the haggadah together online, celebrating a fun shortened second Seder full of songs and meaning, and cooking kosher for Passover foods together on Zoom are some of the ways we can engage as a community and celebrate with our Hillel friends, even while sheltering-in-place.
