Professor
Jessica Gisclair's paper "We Are Not Just a Market, We Are
a People: Representations of Mainland Chinese Personal and Cultural
Identity" was accepted for presentation in the Asian Popular
Culture division at the Popular Culture Association Conference in
New Orleans April 16-19.
Another accomplishment
of note: Gisclair's corporate communications students have designed
a promotional campaign to address awareness of alcohol use and abuse
at Elon University. Several ads based on the students' research
and planning have run in the Elon student newspaper, The Pendulum.
