For the Thanksgiving Break, The Writing Center will close on Tuesday Nov. 26 at 3pm
and REMAIN CLOSED until the University reopens, Monday Dec. 2.
The Writing Center will close for the term on Tuesday Dec. 3 at 10pm.
We will be CLOSED on Reading Day and remain closed until we reopen for Winter term.

M, Tue, Wed: 1-3pm
Hours in our Koury Business Center satellite location:
- 45-minute individualized sessions
- Consultants trained in writing across the disciplines
- Help understanding an assignment, brainstorming, drafting, revising, editing, & documenting sources
- Sessions on a walk-in basis during open hours
To help all memebers of the university community (students, staff, and faculty), as well as community members, with all of their academic, personal, and professional writing needs and questions. In regard to students, we are specially prepared to help them develop rhetorical strategies for producing more effective texts in any discipiline or genre.
Please notice that we are not a "correction" or "editing" service.
Elon's Writing Center consultants are all experienced undergraduate students from a variety of majors. All of our consultants must successfully complete "English 319: Writing Center Workshop" in order to work in the Writing Center, so they are all trained in consulting practices and able to help you with writing from any discipline.
