59. Saving A Life

Juliana Sierra

This little boy’s shirt read “Jesus takes our Junk.” He had no idea what it meant until we explained the message by sharing our testimonies and faith. Touched, he later sat down with us and asked that we pray for him and his family.

“Who has ever heard of such things?  Who has ever seen things like this? Can a country be born in a day? Can a nation be brought forth in a moment?” – Isaiah66: 8

One Nation One Day was a Christian movement that targeted Honduras, one of the most violent and dangerous countries in Central America.  I had the honor of being 1 of 2,000 missionaries to take part of this historical movement that targeted all 18 regions of Honduras. We joined thousands of Hondurans in their cry for justice, and reached out by bringing them medical and other forms of aid as well as hope and renovation of faith through the most powerful healing method of all, the word of God.  One Nation One Day reached out to thousands across the country with booklets that went over topics of salvation, healing, the Holy Spirit, Faith and how to walk with God as a new nation. This movement stood for revival and transformation and on July 20th 2013 Honduras rose together in festivals of hope that took place in all the major stadiums across Honduras. Thousands reached up to God and accepted him as their savior, decaling their nation as “The New Honduras”.
