Celebrate Earth Day with Washington Green Schools

Please join us at Viewlands Elementary for a Day of Service on Wednesday, April 22rd from 1pm-5pm. By donating your time, we'll be able to work together to achieve the following for this diverse Seattle Public School:

  • Create rain garden planters that students and staff will use for classroom learning
  • Spruce up the school grounds through weeding, mulching, and planting
  • Paint murals that will be used to enliven the on-campus portables.

There are a few important details:

  1. Background Checks: Seattle Public Schools requires that all volunteers fill out their background check before volunteering. Please take 1-2 minutes to fill it out and email the completed form and a photo of your driver's license to leigh@wagreenschools.org by April 3.

  3. Food: We'll have snacks and refreshments for all our hardworking volunteers.
  4. Parking: Please plan to park on the street around the school. Carpooling is preferable, as sometimes space can be limited.
