Elon Alumni Career Coaching

Elon’s Office of Alumni Engagement in partnership with the Office of Leadership & Professional Development (OLPD) is excited to announce the expansion of our individual, confidential, coaching sessions to alumni. In 2019, the inaugural participants served as a pilot for our office to determine the current need and future viability of a career coaching program. We are excited to offer this initiative again to our alumni community.

Our developmental career coaching sessions are conducted by board-certified coaches who have 20+ years of experience and are qualified to help you identify your career goals, develop additional leadership skills and navigate future career transitions. This coaching program supports our commitment to continuous learning and education for our alumni. Coaching is intended to assist Elon alumni in understanding where they are now, exploring where they want to be, and developing the competencies to get there. Coaching sessions are applicable to all stages of your career, whether you are a recent grad or a middle-level career professional. Coaching sessions will be conducted virtually and can be done from the comfort of your home.

With participation, you will be eligible for two complimentary professional coaching sessions over a 3–6-month period. The coaching fee will be covered by Elon University. Selected individuals will receive an email from Ann Flaherty, director of the Office of Leadership & Professional Development, who will share more information about the program and introduce you to your coach. You and your coach will then work together to schedule a date/time to meet that is convenient for your schedule. Please note that if selected, all participants will be asked to provide feedback regarding their experience within the program. Your feedback is extremely important and will help us further develop, expand and adapt the program to better meet the needs of future alumni participants.

Applications are currently open for the Spring of 2023. The deadline to apply is April 30. If you have additional questions about the program, please reach out to Rachaele Henderson at rhenderson11@elon.edu.
