Meet Jules Toraby
Our Featured Student of the Month!!!

Each month focuses on a different 1L student, in an effort to get to know a little more about him.  This month, our focus is on Jules Toraby.

Jules was born in Manhattan, in New York, New York, where his father, an architect, and his mother, an attorney, are employed.  Like his mother, he attended Northfield Mount Hermen High School with his sister.  The boarding school is located in Greenwich, Connecticut, bordering New York State.

Raised an avid Red Sox fan, Jules moved to Boston, Massachusetts, to attend Northeastern University, where he obtained a degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Environmental Science.

When asked why he chose to enter into the field of law, Jules responds, "Because I want to be Jules Brockovitch."  Specifically, Jules is interested in becoming an attorney who focuses on environmental issues.

Jules enjoys the innovative approach to legal studies at Elon, as well as the personal attention he receives from the faculty and staff.  He also appreciates the intimate size of the school's classes.  Of Elon, Jules says, "It is definitely a school on its rise to prominence in the legal field."

In addition to teaching himself to play the guitar and practicing yoga, Jules' favorite thing to do is "to go to his local Barbri and get his heirs cut. #propertyjoke."
