Kyle Anderson - Assistant Director of Student Community Engagement Programs 

Kyle has a deep commitment to developing future community leaders and significant experience facilitating partnerships between colleges and organizations to enhance communities. He previously served as the Senior Coordinator for Campus and Community Outreach in the Center for Leadership and Service at the University of Georgia. Other roles include VISTA Leader with Iowa Campus Compact, Campus Engagement Associate with Interfaith Youth Core, AmeriCorps VISTA with the Center for Civic Engagement at Northwestern University, Senior Development Associate with N Street Village, and Development Associate with the Washington Legal Clinic for the Homeless. Kyle has a B.A. in Political Science from Gettysburg College and an M.Ed. from Loyola University-Chicago.

Billy Baker - Community Director for The Station at Mill Point 

Billy recently moved to Elon from Waco, TX. Prior to making the move, Billy completed his Masters of Science in Higher Education and Student Affairs at Baylor University. While at Baylor, Billy served as Graduate Apprentice for Retreats and Training in the area of Spiritual Formation. He also previously worked as the Director of Intermural Sports at East Texas Baptist University.

Brandon Bell - Assistant Director of the Center for Race, Ethnicity, and Diversity Education 

Brandon arrivies at Elon from his alma mater, University of North Carolina-Wilimington (UNCW), where he was the Program Advisor in the Upperman African Cultural Center. In this role, Brandon performed many of the duties that are relevant to supporting Black student development and educating all students on social equity issues. Brandon's degrees, all from UNCW, include a B.A. in Public Sociology with a concentration in Human Resources and an M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration with a concentration in Diversity and Inclusion, Leadership Development. 

Elizabeth Bowen - Executive Assistant to the Vice President of Enrollment and Assistant Vice President and Dean of Admissions

Elizabeth joins Elon from UNC-Chapel Hill, where she served seven years as the Executive Assistant to the CEO of UNC Faculty Physicians and Chair of the Department of Radiology. Elizabeth holds a B.S. from UNC-Greensboro and has over twenty years of experience at Glen Raven, Inc., including extensive work in marketing and special events.

Melanie Bullock - Director of the Center for Leadership

Melanie Bullock joins us from Wake Forest University, where she was the Associate Director for Leadership & Student Engagement. Prior to this role, she served in positions of progressive responsibility at the University of South Florida at St. Petersburg, North Carolina Central University, and the University of Central Florida. Melanie completed a Master of Education in College Student Personnel Administration at James Madison University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Spelman College. She has been highly involved with the National Association for Campus Activities and recently facilitated their “Summer Leadership Event” at Disney World.

Barbara Carlton - Coordinator for Residential Campus Dining and Engagement

Barbara worked at Elon University from '90-'03 as an area director and director of student activities. She then went to work with the Alamance-Burlington School System as a professional school counselor and a trainer for Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Emporia State University and her Master of Arts in Student Development from Appalachian State University in Boone. She will bring a wealth of knowledge to this position and has already been rekindling her Elon connections with enthusiasm.

Libby Coyner - Elon Collections Archivist and Archives Librarian 

Libby earned a B.A. from Portland State University, and an M.L.S. & Master of Archival Studies from University of British Columbia. She joins us from Arizona State University where she was an archivist and formerly Director of Library and Archives at the Sharlot Hall Museum. 

Mackenzie Daniel - Assistant Director of Admissions 

Mackenzie graduated from Elon in 2014. She majored in English Literature with minors in Business Administration and Psychology. As a student, Mackenzie was the Coordinator of New Student Orientation and worked in Admissions. While in Admissions, she assisted in our Records Department and was one of our 2014 Spring Interns. Mackenzie has spent the past two years as an Admissions Counselor at SMU. She will be working with students from North Carolina.

Patrick (Pat) Donohue - Assistant CIO and Director of Campus Technology Support

Pat holds a Bachelor’s degree from Loyola, an MBA from Towson University, and certifications from the Information Technology Infrastructure Library and LEAN IT. He joins us from Philadelphia via Baltimore where he spent 15 years at Loyola University Maryland. He has served in several areas of higher education technology including service desk, classroom technologies, systems administration, and network engineering. Patrick brings experience of supporting the student and collegiate experience with the use of new and emerging technologies.

Caroline Fernandez - Admissions Counselor 

Caroline graduated from Elon in 2017 majoring in Journalism. During her time at Elon, she was a member of Head Staff for New Student Orientation and also served as an intern for the Office of Admissions. She will utilize both of these experiences as the counselor for students from Northern New England and her home state, Florida.

Eleanor Finger - Assistant Vice President for Student Life and Dean of Campus Life 

Eleanor is coming back to Elon from the Division of Student Affairs at Virginia Tech where she was the director of housing and residence life. Prior to her role at Virginia Tech she was the associate dean of students at Washington State University. Eleanor earned her bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Elon, a master’s degree in higher education administration from University of Arkansas - Fayetteville, a second master’s degree in counseling and human services from John Carroll University, and a doctorate in higher education administration from Washington State University.

Stephen Fishler - Director of Operations for Women's Basketball 

Stephen joins us from Penn State University where he served as a Graduate Assistant for the Lady Lion Basketball team. Stephen holds an M.Ed. from Pennsylvania State University. 

Tyson Glover - Admissions Counselor 

Tyson is a recent Elon graduate with a B.A. in Strategic Communications and Entrepreneurship. In addition to leading him to his new role in Admissions, Tyson's Elon spirit helped him become president of the Phoenix Phanatics as a student. He will be recruiting and counseling students from the Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island territory. 

Kelly Harer - Assistant Director of Sustainability for Education and Outreach 

Kelly earned her bachelor’s degree from Coastal Carolina University in business administration and her master’s degree from Western Kentucky University, specializing in Social Responsibility and Sustainable Communities. Prior to Elon, Kelly served as Assistant Director of Admissions at Coastal Carolina University. She also taught the University’s Introduction to Sustainability class and advised and mentored the ECO-Club. At Elon, Kelly is responsible for developing and implementing programs to increase the practice of sustainable behaviors and enhance awareness of sustainability initiatives and accomplishments. She manages the Phoenix Cup competition and move-out waste reduction program (Don’t Trash It!) among other programs. She also oversees the Eco-Reps, a peer education program, and coordinates the Loy Farm tours.

Aliana Harrison - Associate Director of Residence Life for Residential Education and Community Development 

Aliana earned her BA in History from Elon University and her Masters in Higher Education from NC State. Prior to coming to Elon, Aliana was the Assistant Director for Residence Life at Virginia Tech. She has also served as a Community Director at UNC-Chapel Hill and a Resident Director at NC State. She has teaching experience at all three institutions and has also completed some extensive work related to Diversity, Social Justice and Inclusion.

Mitch Herndon - Video Producer 

Mitch holds a B.F.A. from Elon University. During Mitch's time at Elon he was the music director of WSOE-FM and film producer/director. He joins the School of Communications to produce video projects, provide workshop and facility support for the school, and support student television shows.


Melissa Hoff - Operations and Budget Accountant, Accounting 

Melissa holds a B.S. from Coastal Carolina University, B.S. from University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and an M.A. Western Kentucky University. She joins us from Greensboro College where she served as a Controller. Melissa has prior experience as the Controller and Employee Benefit Administrator for Greensboro Day School where she managed the annual budget process. She is also a certified public accountant.

Katia Holliday - 2017-18 Academic Advising Fellow, Academic Support and Advising Office 

Katia Holliday completed an M.Ed. in Higher Education at UNC-Wilmington. Katia's graduate assistantships included supporting campus programs intended to educate students about alcohol and other drug issues and working with the department of instructional technology, foundations and secondary education to support research projects. She will work directly with the student leaders in the Elon 101 program, teach a section of the course, and support general advising in the office. 

Tyrone Jean - Assistant Dean of Students and Director of the Center for Race, Ethnicity, and Diversity Education 

Tyrone was most recently the Associate Director of the Center for Multicultural Affairs at Duke University where he served as the lead trainer/consultant on social justice matters, supervised professional staff and graduate assistants, advised student organizations, and served as the center’s leader in the Director’s absence. His education includes a B.A. degree in African American Studies from University of Virginia and a M.A. Ed. degree in Educational Leadership & Policy Studies from Virginia Tech. Additionally, he has obtained trainings and certifications in several areas related to identity and justice. Tyrone will lead the CREDE and the coordination of student diversity education efforts campus-wide.

Kevin Jermyn - Head Men's & Women's Cross Country/Assistant Track & Field Coach 

Kevin holds a Master of Arts in Liberal Studies from Duke University. He joins Elon Athletics from the Chicago Area Runners Association where he served as Executive Director. Kevin has also served as the Head Women's Cross Country Coach/Associate Head Track & Field Coach at Duke University; a position he held for 14 years. 

Emily Krechel - Director of New Student and Transition Programs 

Emily Krechel comes to us from the University of California-Berkeley, where she most recently served as the Associate Director of New Student Services. In this position, she collaborated with colleagues across the campus to create a comprehensive orientation program for over 9,000 incoming students and was instrumental in providing the vision as UC-Berkeley moved from a summer orientation model to a welcome week model that will be implemented this coming August. Emily completed a Master of Science degree in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Miami University in Ohio and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from James Madison University. Additionally, she currently serves as the Chair of the Commission for Admissions, Orientation, and First Year Experience within the American College Personnel Association.

Joseph (Joe) A. Loosemore - Football Video/Graphics Coordinator

Joe holds a BSBA in Sports Management from Western Carolina University. Joe joins us from Austin Peay State University where he served as a Video Coordinator/Assistant Director of Football Operations. 

Megan McLane - Coordinator of Annual Giving

Megan is a 2016 graduate and sibling of a 2012 graduate. She graduated with a B.S. in Sport and Event Management with a minor in Communications. During her time at Elon, she was involved with many different aspects including the Athletic Department, Administrative Services and Sigma Kappa Sorority. Additionally, she had the opportunity to study abroad in architecture in various European countries.

Michael L. Neiduski - Title IX Investigator, Human Resources 

Mike received his B.A. in History from Marquette University and earned his M.Ed. from Clemson University in Counselor Education - Student Affairs. He is a trained Title IX Investigator with six years of experience addressing instances of sexual misconduct in the university setting. He will be the primary investigator for similar cases at Elon working with Human Resources and Student Life. Michael joins us from the School of Pharmacy at Concordia University Wisconsin where he was the Director of Student and Alumni Affairs where he also served as a Title IX Investigator and Senior Conduct Officer.

Robert (Bob) Nutt – Graphic Designer, University Communications

Bob comes to us from BNC Bank/Redwing Innovations, where he most recently served as Creative Director. His responsibilities included graphic design, videography and photography. He holds an Associate of Science Degree in Advertising Design from The Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Bob is the author/illustrator of the award-winning children’s book, Amy’s Light, published by Dawn Publications, dawnpub.com.

Connor O’Donnell - Assistant Director of Development

Connor earned his degree at Elon in Political Science and Strategic Communications in 2014. During his time at Elon, Connor was involved in Student Government, Leadership Fellows, Greek Life, and Admissions. Since graduation, Connor has spent the past three years in an account management role where he was responsible for soliciting and cultivating both relationships and business engagements with prospective clients. This experience, coupled with his fundraising experiences as an undergraduate, were the catalysts that drew him back to Elon.


Matt Olmsted - Assistant Director of New Student and Transition Programs 

Matt Olmsted comes to us from James Madison University, where he just concluded his time as a Graduate Assistant in their Orientation Office helping to oversee August Orientation. In that position, he oversaw the recruitment, selection, and training of over 300 First Year Orientation Guides (FROGs) and chaired the committee planning the Transition Team Training Day for all orientation and residence life staff preparing both teams to work together to assist new students transitioning into the University. Matt earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Stockton University and graduated in May with a Master of Education in College Student Personnel Administration from James Madison University.

Justin Paggao - Assistant Director of Student Involvement 

Justin Paggao comes to us from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee, where he served as a Graduate Assistant in Student Involvement. In this position, he advised and provided leadership to the Campus Activities Board, was responsible for the development and assessment of departmental programs, recruited and trained student programming coordinators and volunteers, and served as the Chair of the Panther Street Festival. Justin earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Illinois State University and a Master of Education in College Student Personnel Administration from Marquette University.

Thomas Phelps - Director of Ticket Operations 

Thomas comes to Elon Athletics from the Naval Academy Athletic Association where he served as Executive Sales Associate for External Relationships & Group Sales. Thomas holds a Bachelor of Art (B.A.) in History from Elon University as well as a Master of Science in Sport Management from Liberty University. 

Betsy Polk - Interim Director of Hillel 

Betsy earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and a Master of Science in Organizational Development from American University. She is a Co-Founder of The Mulberry Partners, LLC, a Chapel Hill a consulting firm focused on leadership development and has been a coach and mentor at UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School. She is a co-author of the award winning book, Power Through Partnership: How Women Lead Better Together. Betsy has wide experience and connection with Jewish life throughout North Carolina.

Anna Rice - Alumni Engagement Officer

Anna graduated from Elon in 2017 where she majored in Public Health Studies and minored in Biology and Human Service Studies. During her time at Elon, she completed undergraduate research through the Elon College Fellows program, participated in the Executive Internship program in the Office of University Advancement, served on the President’s Student Leadership Advisory Council and studied abroad in South Africa. She is looking forward to helping alumni stay connected with Elon by becoming partners with, advocates of, and investors in the university. 

Matt Robertson - Assistant Director of Development for Athletics 

Matt holds a Bachelors of Science in Sport and Event Management and Minor in Economics from Elon University. Matt joins us from Duke University where he served as Development Assistant working primarily with Major Gifts and Iron Dukes. 

Ashley Rose - Admissions Counselor 

Ashley Rose is a graduate of the Elon Class of 2015 and is excited to return to her alma mater after spending a year teaching in New Jersey. She kept herself busy while at Elon majoring in International Studies with minors in Spanish, Anthropology, and Geography. She will be working with students from New York and New Jersey. 

Anne Roycroft - Director of Accreditation

Anne earned a B.A., American Studies and M.Ed., Counseling at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and an Ed.D. at the University of West Georgia. Anne will work in the areas of assessment, accreditation and curriculum design. She joins us from Fuel Education & Florida Virtual School where she was Senior Manager of Products and Services and a Curriculum Specialist. Anne also serves as a lead CAEP reviewer.

Trianne Smith - Community Director for the Oaks Neighborhood 

Trianne recently graduated from Clemson University, earning her Masters of Education with an emphasis in Student Affairs. While at Clemson, she served as a Graduate Community Director and Accessibility Graduate Student Intern. Trianne has also completed summer internships at Tri-County Technical College, Stanford University, and Northern Virginia Community College. Trianne is excited to work with motivated students and inspiring professionals. 

Jenni Spangenberg - Associate Director of Residence Life for Leadership and Staff Development 

Jenni Spangenberg attended undergraduate and graduate school in Minnesota at the University of Minnesota Duluth and Minnesota State University, respectively where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Criminology and a Master of Public Administration. She began her professional career at the University of Miami in Housing and Residential Life. She worked progressively through the six years at the University of Miami as Assistant Area Director, Area Director, and Assistant Director. She also served as an Assistant Dean and Director of Sandler Center for Alcohol and Other Drug Education in the Dean of Students Office. While at the University of Miami she also received a Master’s Certificate of Higher Education: Student Life and Development.

Michael Spencer – Program Coordinator of the Doherty Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership

Michael joins us after serving as the interim assistant director of the Center for Leadership at Elon University. Michael is an Elon graduate who earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.

Brittany Tyree - Associate Director of Career Advising for Student-Athletes 

Brittany holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies, a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Sports Administration from Ohio University. She seeks to bridge the gap between employers and student-athletes at Elon through creating meaningful connections and relationships. She held roles within career and academic services, human resources, and sports. More recently, she served as the Senior Assistant Director of Career Management in the Office of Career Management at Ohio University’s College of Business.

Amy Wolf - Hillel Engagement Associate 

Amy is a 2017 graduate of Elon and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Human Service Studies, with a minor in Psychology. She was active in Jewish Life, Elonthon, Greek Life, and was a student office assistant in the Truitt Center.


Hillary Zaken - Assistant Director for Development and Strategic Communications at Elon Hillel 

Hillary holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Bard College and completed course work for a Master of Arts at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. She comes to Elon from the American Hebrew Academy in Greensboro where she was the Director of Communication. She has held many posts in public relations, communications, and development in both the non-profit and Jewish world. She also brings more than a decade of international journalistic experience—much of it in Israel--to her role at Elon.

Zach Hill - Assistant Athletic Trainer, Intern

Zach holds a Master of Sciece in Clinical Exercise Science from Eastern Illinois University. Zach comes to Elon from Eastern Illinois University where he served as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer working primarily with Baseball, Men's & Women's Swimming, Volleyball, and Football. 

Greg Kuras - Academic Assistant 

Greg joins Elon Athletics from Springfield College, Springfield, MA, where he served as an Academic Athletic Counselor. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Furman University. 

Full-Time Office and Support Staff

Jess Buller - Program Assistant for Student Involvement 

Jess Buller is a 2016 graduate of Elon and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport & Event Mangement, with minors in Leadership Studies and Business Administration. As a student she was an Isabella Cannon Leadership Fellow, student coordinator for the 2013 Intersect Leadership and Diversity conference, and Fundrasing and Events Intern at Friendship Works Youth Mentoring Charity during a semester in London in fall 2014. Last year she served in an interim role in Student Involvement and her knowledge of event planning and administrative processes at the University will be a tremendous asset to the department.

Camilla Brewer - Coordinator for Gender and LGBTQIA Center and Danieley Center 

Camilla joined Elon University in 2016 where she served as the Graduate Assistant for the Gender and LGBTQIA Center. While at Elon, she also completed her Masters in Student Personnel Administration at UNC-G. Camilla was also a New Student Programs NODA intern at Murray State University and a Graduate Assistant for Sexual Violence Prevention at UNC-G. While at UNC-G, she had leadership experience with Chi Sigma Alpha, the Black Graduate Student Union, LeaderShape, and the Sexual Misconduct Prevention Task Force.

Jasmine Brown - Coordinator of Data Management 

Jasmine holds a BA in Community Mental Health from the University at Buffalo and has worked in the nonprofit sector for over ten years and in advancement for only two years. She comes to Elon having previously worked for a small advancement department at a large community college in NY. A native of New York City, she and her family have recently moved and is calling North Carolina home.

Lauren Feely - Program Assistant in Fraternity & Sorority Life 

Lauren graduated from Elon with a degree in Communications and Journalism and spent 13 years in government contracting providing support, external relations and account management. Lauren is the primary contact for several administrative aspects of the Fraternity & Sorority Life office, including budget allocation, Greek housing, and creating community reports.

Crystal Haley - Program Assistant

Crystal comes to us from Coastal Horizons, Inc. where she served as a TASC Care Manager. She has previously worked for SunTrust Bank and Truliant Federal Credit Union. Crystal holds a B.S. in Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

Allison Hart - Program Assistant 

Allison graduated from Elon in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. Most recently, she has been a stay at home Mom to 2 vivacious children, and had previously been with Bank of America, Johnson and Wales University, and Walt Disney World. Allison will be assisting the Office of Alumni Engagement in engaging an amazing alumni body as Partners, Investors, and Advocates.

Christina Holt - Program Assistant for Physician Assistant Studies

Christina will be assisting the Physician Assistant Studies program as a part of the Clinical Education Team. She comes to us from Wake Forest Baptist Health Pediatrics. Having worked closely with medical professionals she looks forward to helping Elon students achieve their goals to be medical professionals.

Amanda Lenz - Digital Content Strategist 

Amanda is a North Carolina native and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from UNC-Greensboro. Amanda comes to us with a background in graphic design, social media management, and content writing. Amanda will join the Teaching and Learning Technologies team. She is also a member of TriadJS, a Greensboro-based JavaScript meet-up, and enjoys attending technology conferences both professionally and in her free time.

Tracy Pace - Program Assistant for the Residence Life Main Office 

Tracy comes to Elon from the insurance industry where she worked as an Executive Administrative Assistant and she was also the Director of a Mothers Morning Out Program for 8 years.

Physical Plant

Kerrie Corbett - Service Desk Analyst

Kerrie received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Elon University in '97. She is the daughter of Stanley Greeson, who retired in 2009 from Elon as Assistant Director of the Physical Plant. She worked at Elon during the 2010-11 academic year as a temporary Physical Plant Budget Clerk. We are glad to welcome Kerrie back to Elon.

Adam Davis - Groundskeeper

Adam comes to Elon after many years spent working in various outdoor jobs as an operator. He has worked for the City of Burlington as well as Landscape contractors.

Kevin Harrington - Groundskeeper

Kevin comes to Elon having worked at Twin Lakes Retirement Village as a groundskeeper since 2015. Kevin went to high school at Western Alamance. After graduation he attended UNC-Charlotte briefly before attending Alamance Community College. He has an associates degree in Criminal Justice.

Cody Watson - Mason                                                                         

Cody Watson comes to Elon from Whitesell Masonry, Inc., Burlington, with 6 years of masonry experience. He is also a certified forklift operator. Cody will be operating out of the carpentry shop at the Physical Plant, but will also work on brick walks, and walls throughout campus.


Chad Mills - Fleet Mechanic II in Automotive Services

Chad comes to us after 6 years of service with Nichols Chrysler/Dodge with a total of 8 years Automotive Technician experience. Prior to his automotive experience, he had 10 years of machinist experience. Chad has an Associate Degree in Automotive Systems Technology from Alamance Community College.
